Quite a scare

shirt: JcPenny $10; belt: D.I. $1.50; pants: D.I. $3; shoes: my mom's closet

There I was. Sitting on my couch watching the new Joseph Smith movie the church has posted on their website. I was all alone and it was dark. I was trying to become prepared for sleeping in my house by myself, you see my roommate is at a conference for mining and engineering. She's staying in a mansion and having $400+ worth of a meal. Jealous? Yup.

So anyway, as I'm watching the movie I suddenly hear a knock on my BACK door. I ignore the first knock, thinking it wasn't really on my door and it just sounded like it and I continue to watch the movie. Then I hear another knock. It sounded like "du-dudu-du-du... DU DU!" You know? I hope you get that.  I paused the movie and I sat there. Frozen.

So many things were running through my head. First I though, "Oh it's probably Lexi and Laura because they said they wanted to have a sleepover." But that thought was clouded over with, "Well they didn't call or text me or anything so it's probably NOT them." As the knocks continued, there were voices that came with them. It sounded like two girls.

And then, it happened. There was a knock at my window. I sunk down on the couch so they couldn't see me and I couldn't see them. My heart was pounding so hard in my chest. My mind was thinking of the billions of people it could be. I had heard noises in my kitchen earlier. Like the sound of someone moving around in it. All in all, I was freaked out.

So I called my older sister and she answered in a whisper. "hello?"I replied in a whisper, "someone's at my door." To which she replied, "why are you whispering?" And that's when I heard it. I had crept up to the door and heard through the crack "why are you whispering?" Oh. My. Goodness. Turns out my two sisters and brother had come to take me home because I was so scared at my house. It's fine though, they just almost made me pee my pants, cry and have a heart attack all at once. But I'm so glad they got me. I don't know how long I would have lasted!
