July the Fourth

To start off this holiday, my siblings and I went and slept over at the Freedom Festival in Provo so we could have a good spot for the parade. Only... We got there pretty late so we ended up sleeping in some random patch of grass that was kind of like a park, but not really. It was one of the worst nights of sleep I've had in a while. BUT it was so much fun to be with those crazy people. Well, the parade was pretty grand. There were some really cool floats but honestly, the best part was when everyone stood up for the color guard at the beginning and the war veterans through-out. When any military passed by, they would erupt into giant applause. The Provo missionaries got a standing ovation as well, it was pretty sweet.

It got to be about a billion degrees outside and I think every pore in my body was sweating so the second I got home I jumped into the pool. Boy it felt good. We watched the movie Unknown with Liam Neeson. It was pretty good, a real mind boggler. The day concluded with a barbeque, badmitton, and last but DEFINITELY not least, fireworks.
